For their team in Belgrade, they are looking for an

IT Consultant M&A Management

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Due Diligence processes from IT point of view for large merger activities
  • Analyze virtual data rooms during Due Diligence processes
  • Interact with Sellers and Investment banks in Expert calls
  • Develop the relevant playbooks (application and infrastructure)
  • Do cost and effort calculations for transition and future operation model
  • Create Due Diligence reports and Business Cases
  • Interact daily with business and IT stakeholders and manage business relationships in the context of M&A
  • Interact intensively with IT leadership team, the M&A department, local markets, Purchasing, partners and other external stakeholders like contractors
  • Responsible for intensive collaboration with partners and IT contractors
  • Ensure that projects are executed in line with the company’s project methodology
  • Determines the optimal process governance needed, and manages this decision-making and approval process, and its key stakeholders and participants
  • Set up and track continuous improvements in close cooperation with business stakeholders
  • Embody the values of the company and ensure compliance with international & local IT corporate policies procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a complex IT environment, working on applications selection, design, building, testing of applications, and project leadership (at least 10 years of project leadership/management in business applications) or has demonstrated the ability to perform the principle functional responsibilities
  • Experience in lead role for multi-million euro programs
  • Experience in M&A and execution of improvement programs (hard & soft skills)
  • Thorough understanding of business processes and management systems is required
  • Thorough understanding of IT contracts
  • Industry experience is a must
  • Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors, projects and a wide range of tasks.
  • Strong understanding of software technology, licensing, and controls with ability to understand and interpret nuances of software license agreements and contracts
  • Deep organizational discipline and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to bridge communications between the IT organization and its business customers, with a focus on developing an understanding of what the IT organization and its vendors can deliver and how that can be measured most effectively
  • Interpersonal relationship strengths for managing disputes and driving change in vendor behaviors, and creating a working environment where vendors receive incentives to change behaviors to meet performance goals
  • Analytical in his or her approach to problem solving with a focus on managing in a team environment with attention to results and with a sense of urgency
  • Strong understanding of software license compliance issues in large companies
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Very good strategic, solution and cost-oriented thinking
  • Fluent language skills in English
